What Is UniAdmissions' Acceptance Criteria?

Our mission at UniAdmissions is to get every single one of the students we work with each year onto their chosen course at Oxford or Cambridge. In order to do this, we commit a lot of time and resources to each of our students. Because of this, if the student isn’t completely committed to the process, we cannot accept them onto our Programme.

The factors below are the main criteria we assess, amongst other factors that your Admissions Consultant will walk through on your initial consultation.

1

ACADEMIC PROFILE

Whether you have the right academic profile to be realistically considered by Oxford or Cambridge.

2

WIDER PROFILE

Whether you have begun to demonstrate the kind of interest that is looked upon favourably by admissions tutors.

3

ATTITUDE

Whether you are approaching your application and admission to Oxbridge for the right reasons.

4

TIME COMMITMENT

Applying to Oxbridge takes a significant commitment – if a student can’t commit the time, we can’t work with them.

How Do I Enrol?

To get started on your journey with UniAdmissions, you’ll need to arrange to speak with an Admissions Consultant who will assess your application and how viable you are as a candidate.

We work only with the best tutors

How do we match these tutors to our students?

The secret lies in our propietary dedicated tutor management system, TutorMatch. This platform enables our tutors to generate a personal profile of their skills and expertise. This enables us to select the very best tutors out of those who apply. This system has a number of benefits for our students:

Fast, efficient process of tutor selection.

We select the best tutors from an already elite group, based on your subject and University preferences.

Transparency of investment: tutors produce reports after every session to monitor progress.

63% of students on our Programmes get their Oxbridge place, our tutors help us achieve this.

Automation and data analysis means we are constantly improving the process.

Frequently Asked Questions

We work with a limited number of students each year to ensure we can provide the best support suited for their particular needs.

Our Programmes have a structured syllabus, however, we tweak elements of the syllabus so the student is able to gain the most out of our support.

As we work with a limited number of students, we have a limited number of places available for enrolment on each Programme.

The best way to find out whether there are still places available is by booking a free consultation here or contacting us via Livechat, where our expert Admissions Consultants will be able to advise you further.

To get started with a UniAdmissions Programme, you will need to speak to an Admissions Consultant. You can arrange this easily through LiveChat, booking a consultation or calling us directly.

You can see what this process looks like by clicking here.

We do have ideal start times at points throughout the year, however, the syllabus can be adapted to suit your particular start time if you are accepted onto the Programme. Our Admissions Consultants can help you understand the Programme timeline in your specific case – all you need to do is ask.

First and foremost, we assess whether the potential student has the right academic capabilities and profile to be realistically accepted to study at Oxford or Cambridge.

Secondly, we assess whether the student is capable and willing to put in the time required to create a strong application for Oxbridge.

Finally, we assess the student’s attitude and reasoning behind applying to Oxford or Cambridge. This is one of our most important considerations.

If a student has below-average (but still realistic) grades for Oxford and Cambridge, but the correct attitude, we would consider accepting them onto our Programme. Unfortunately, if the converse is that case, it’s unlikely the student would be accepted onto the Programme.

UniAdmissions is committed to giving the very best service to every student. Our talented tutors are the key to the excellent service we pride ourselves on, passing on not only their expertise, but also their enthusiasm to inspire the next generation to succeed.

All tutors are either current senior students, recent graduates or from a professional background. Our selection process ensures only the best tutors work for us, in roles most suited to their skill-sets.

UniAdmissions are committed to providing the highest quality service to you. If you are unhappy with your Programme at any point, you can contact your Dedicated Programme Manager to arrange a new tutor and discuss any issues – we will do everything we can to keep you satisfied.

If you’re still unhappy with your Programme, we offer a risk-free cooling-off period in which you can cancel if you meet our Terms and Conditions.

The Programme Portal is where you will find all of the support and resources for your Programme.

You can think of the Portal as the hub of all the materials included within your Programme. If you are ever looking for a relevant book, an online course, course dates or anything along those lines, the Portal is very likely to be your answer.

You can also use the Portal to get in touch with our team at any point.

You’ll get access to all of our online resources and paperback books relevant to your admissions test all packed with powerful strategies and techniques to help you prepare, improve and boost your score.

In person tuition is usually held in a location that’s convenient for you and your tutor in Central London, Cambridge or Oxford.

In some cases, it may be possible to have the sessions at your house depending on your location.

Absolutely, and we’d encourage you to do so.

Make sure you give your tutor enough notice (at least 5 days) for them to prepare the appropriate materials.

Each Programme is adapted to the needs of each of our students, therefore, prices may vary according to the components of the Programme.

Talking to an Admissions Consultant would be the best way to find out what you need in your Programme and the cost of it.

Our tutors work at any time that is convenient for you including weekends and evenings. As soon as you’ve booked, we will match you with subject specific tutors that are best suited to your needs. They will then call/email you to confirm the time and location of the first session within 48 hours of booking.

Once you have enrolled on a Programme with us, we will invite you to an onboarding session and begin to arrange your tutors.

This session will introduce you to important members of our team who will be supporting you along your journey with UniAdmissions. We will also show you how to get the most out of your Programme and how to use everything that is included.
