Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.

You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor, and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.
Unlimited One-to-One Tutoring
As part of the programme, you will be guided by a top-performing IMAT tutor who was in the Top 10% of their cohort. You will have unlimited sessions with this tutor, to ensure you get the exact attention you need to succeed.
These personalized sessions allow you to steer your own learning with the guidance of your tutor, who will ensure that each session is impactful and has aided in enhancing your abilities and understanding.

Comprehensive IMAT Materials
We have published over 100 highly-rated titles over the years covering all aspects of the application process. Medicine Enrichment Seminars
To truly distinguish yourself in your application, it’s essential to be continuously involved in your area of study and develop a deeper understanding of it. Therefore, our Enrichment Seminars are here to support you in this pursuit.
Starting from the first week of the programme, you will be invited to attend these seminars that will enable you to gain extensive knowledge about your chosen subject outside of the standard curriculum, something that admissions tutors seek in the top applicants.

Mentoring
Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated mentor – a senior tutor.
Your Mentor will be there to support you with complex areas of your application and will assist you in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme. This could be (but is not limited to) support navigating the UCAS system, identifying and securing relevant work experience, and guidance on letters of reference.
You’ll be assigned an academic mentor for guidance and will be able to contact them whenever you require.

Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability. Based on this, you may be offered a place if there are spaces remaining in the cohort.

What is the IMAT?
The IMAT is an Admissions Test required for English taught Medicine and Dentistry courses in Italy.

Does the IMAT have negative marking?
There is a penalty of -0.4 points for each incorrect answer in the IMAT. This removes the luxury of always being able to guess should you not be able to figure out the right answer or run behind on time.
Why are there limited places available?

To maintain this, we implement the Scholar Limit, restricting programme admissions to ensure every student receives the high-quality teaching and support they deserve. While we support more applicants each year, the Scholar Limit ensures we uphold our standards and maximize students’ chances of success. If capacity is full, you can enrol early for the next cohort, securing your spot at the current fee and gaining immediate access to the UniAdmissions Portal and its resources.

Who are your IMAT tutors?
Every IMAT tutor at UniAdmissions is carefully vetted by our programmes team, meaning you will only work with experienced, highly knowledgeable tutors who are truly experts in the IMAT.
If you are ever unhappy with your tutor (an unlikely occurrence), then your dedicated Programme Manager will arrange a better-suited tutor for you.
Do you really offer "unlimited tutoring"?
Yes, we do! Each of our students can book as many one-to-one tutoring sessions as they wish for the duration of their UniAdmissions programme. These sessions can be used to cover any areas that you’re struggling with from the IMAT.
When does the Programme start?
We do have ideal start times at points throughout the year, however, the syllabus can be adapted to suit your particular start time if you are accepted onto the Programme. Our Admissions Consultants can help you understand the Programme timeline in your specific case – all you need to do is ask.
I'm struggling in one area - Can I spend the whole session on it?
Absolutely, and we’d encourage you to do so.
Make sure you give your tutor enough notice (at least 5 days) for them to prepare the appropriate materials.
Why shouldn't I just book an IMAT course instead of a Programme?
Unfortunately, the IMAT cannot be properly prepared for in a couple of days. We’ve found, through years of research and preparing students for the IMAT, that doing it over a longer period of time is a much more effective way of actually absorbing the skills needed to perform on the day and ultimately get a higher IMAT score.
What happens next once I enrol on this Programme?
Once you have enrolled on the IMAT Programme with us, we will invite you to an onboarding session and begin to arrange your tutors.
This session will introduce you to important members of our team who will be supporting you along your journey with UniAdmissions. We will also show you how to get the most out of your Programme and how to use everything that is included.
