30 Hrs One-To-One Tutoring

In your Biomedical Sciences Programme, your one-to-one tuition sessions are led by a highly qualified tutor who will provide guidance on the course material.

The one-on-one sessions are designed to concentrate on challenging topics and your own areas of difficulty. From the very first week of the programme, you will have the opportunity to participate in Enrichment Supervision sessions specifically tailored for medical subjects, which will provide you with exposure to subject material beyond the standard curriculum. Being able to discuss these topics will help boost your interview skills and help you stand out to the admissions tutors.

Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, an essential component of you application.

Forms Group & Mentoring

Each student enrolled in our Programmes will be placed into a Form group run by an expert Form Mentor. They will conduct fortnightly sessions to provide guidance and support on various aspects of the application process and of the programme, including effective utilisation of available resources.

Should you encounter any difficulties with your programme, you have the option to schedule unlimited one-on-one mentoring sessions with your Form Mentor. The primary objective of the Form Mentor is to ensure that each student is equipped with the necessary tools to maximize their chances of success in the program.

You’ll be placed into a form group with your Medicine academic head. They will make sure you are on track, and you will recieve unlimited mentoring sessions.

Personalised Portal

Access everything included in your programme quickly and easily with your own UniAdmissions Portal, personalised to meet your needs.

As a student, this is your Programme hub. As a parent, you can track your child’s progress through the Programme and receive regular reports.

You’ll get access upon enrolment to a Programme.

Head Start Seminars

Students applying more than 12 months ahead of time will have access to our Head Start Medicine seminars, which are geared toward students who are in the early stages of the application process. These seminars provide a solid foundation for your future education and allow you to fully benefit from your UniAdmissions Programme.

Sessions are created specifically for our Head Start students and focus on topics that help establish a solid foundation for your education and teach valuable life skills.

12 Hrs Head Start Tutoring

One-to-one sessions provide a highly personalised form of preparation focused directly on your specific needs. Head Start students receive access to an extra 12 hours of one-to-one sessions with their expert tutor to ensure they do not have any weak areas when going into their application year.

Students on our Head Start Programmes will get an additional 12 hours of one-to-one tutoring time along with their Head Start seminars.

Does Cambridge offer a Biomedical Science course?

Yes and no. Cambridge does offer Biomedical Sciences, but as an add-on to the Natural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Medicine courses – there is no option to take it as a single subject.

I thought the BMAT was for Medicine courses?

Although the BMAT is primarily used by Medicine applicants, a number of smaller courses such as Biomedical Sciences and Dentistry do use it too.
