Application Support
Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.
Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.
You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.
Unlimited ESAT Tutoring
As a UniAdmissions student, you will get unlimited one-to-one sessions with an ESAT tutor who will guide you through each part of the ESAT to make sure you know how to approach it.
Each session will be tailored to your needs, so you will be able to ensure that you’re getting the most out of every single one.

Comprehensive ESAT Materials
With our huge library of over 100 published titles, you will have access to all of the books that will help you through the ESAT. They are filled with revision material and practice resources.

ESAT Intensive Course
During this full-day, interactive ESAT course, you will be taught everything you need to know about the test, including the four core subjects within it. This course is led by an experienced expert on the exam who will provide detailed advice on how to approach everything in the ESAT and help you achieve a score in the top 10% of test-takers.
In this course, you will have the opportunity to ask any pressing questions you may have about the test and interact with different activities throughout the day.
You’ll get an exclusive place on our renowned ESAT preparation course, reserved for Programme students.
Enrichment Seminars
When applying to Cambridge, it’s important to show a genuine interest in your chosen subject. To aid in this, we offer regular Enrichment Seminars, which you can attend from the first week of your programme.
These sessions include extra-curricular subjects that go beyond what is typically covered in classes, giving you an edge in your application.
Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, as you would at Cambridge.
Mentoring
Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated mentor – a senior tutor. Your Mentor will be there to support you with complex areas of your application and will assist you in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme. This could be (but is not limited to) support navigating the UCAS system, identifying and securing relevant work experience, and guidance on letters of reference.
You’ll be assigned an academic mentor for guidance and unlimited mentoring sessions.
Personalised Portal
The UniAdmissions Portal is your link between all of the support and resources offered in your Programme and you. You’ll find everything included in your Programme available in your personalised Portal account.
As a student this is your Programme Hub. With monthly updates, you’ll stay in the loop and never miss a step in your preparation. Stay informed about tasks, important dates and your progress, and be confident that you’re always on the right path!

Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability. Based on this, you may be offered a place if there are spaces remaining in the cohort. We accept students onto our exclusive Programmes based upon the following:

What is the ESAT?
The ESAT is the Engineering and Science Admissions Test required by Cambridge for applicants to four courses; Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Engineering, Natural Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine.
This exam has replaced the NSAA and ENGAA, but has a similar specification to these previous exams. You can view our comprehensive guide to the basics of ESAT which will help you to better understand what the ESAT is.
How are you able to offer tutoring and resources for the ESAT with it being a new exam?
Through our decade of experience in the Oxbridge application space, UniAdmissions has dealt with many exam and test specification changes. Yes, we do! Each of our students can book as many one-to-one tutoring sessions as they wish for the duration of their UniAdmissions programme. These sessions can be used to cover any areas that you’re struggling with from the ESAT.
Why are there limited places available?
At UniAdmissions, we’ve guided hundreds of students to Oxford and Cambridge for more than a decade, achieving success rates over three times the national average. To maintain this, we implement the Scholar Limit, restricting programme admissions to ensure every student receives the high-quality teaching and support they deserve. While we support more applicants each year, the Scholar Limit ensures we uphold our standards and maximize students’ chances of success. If capacity is full, you can enrol early for the next cohort, securing your spot at the current fee and gaining immediate access to the UniAdmissions Portal and its resources. Alternatively, you can join our waitlist or apply for the Full-Blue Programme, which allows you to start anytime with added benefits.
How are my ESAT tutoring sessions arranged?
You can book your tutoring sessions through your UniAdmissions Portal. The Portal is the central point of your Programme and will contain all of your ESAT resources, seminar access and lots of useful information.
No other ESAT tuition provider has a system close to the UniAdmissions Portal!
Who has to sit the ESAT?
