What's included in the HAA Tutoring Programme?

Our HAA programme provides more than just unlimited one-on-one tuition – it also grants access to a comprehensive set of preparation materials, including books, practice materials and regular group sessions, all designed to expand your knowledge of not just the test but the subject as a whole. These benefits are exclusive to our students, making our programme the most effective HAA support available.

What we do works.

Our HAA Tutoring Programme provides comprehensive support for your exam preparation, with tailored content to maximize your chances of success in the test.

Tap on the cards to see more details about our programme’s components.

Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.

Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.

UniAdmissions students have access to an unlimited amount of tuition sessions. Your one-on-one tuition sessions are the cornerstone of your HAA Programme and enable you to hone your skills and knowledge under the direction of an accomplished Cambridge tutor.

In each session, you have complete control over your learning, allowing you to focus on the areas that need the most improvement. Our tutors are proficient in the HAA and can provide you with comprehensive support to enhance your skills and achieve a high score.

Unlimited one-to-one support with your expert HAA tutor – all with homework and reports.

Your HAA Programme will provide access to an assortment of valuable resources to aid you in your preparation, such as practice papers, textbooks, and our unique UniAdmissions History Reading Lists.

Finely-tuned HAA resources in a range of mediums to help you practice and learn for your exam.

Our Enrichment Seminars have been crafted exclusively for our students to help them explore their subject comprehensively and uncover topics beyond the standard curriculum.

In these seminars, a skilled tutor will guide you through a specific topic, inspiring you to delve deeper and broaden your research. This will enhance your profile and differentiate you from the competition in the eyes of the Oxford admissions team within your Personal Statement and Interview.

Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, as you would at Cambridge.

Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated mentor – a senior tutor. Your Mentor will be there to support you with complex areas of your application and will assist you in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme. This could be (but is not limited to) support navigating the UCAS system, identifying and securing relevant work experience, and guidance on letters of reference.

You’ll be assigned an academic mentor for guidance and unlimited mentoring sessions.

The UniAdmissions Portal is your link between all of the support and resources offered in your Programme and you. You’ll find everything included in your Programme available in your personalised Portal account.

As a student this is your Programme Hub. With monthly updates, you’ll stay in the loop and never miss a step in your preparation. Stay informed about tasks, important dates and your progress, and be confident that you’re always on the right path!

You’ll get access upon enrolment to a Programme.

A personalised online platform which will guide you through your Programme as a student, or help you track your child’s progress as a parent.

We are a private selective Oxbridge preparation school.

Our mission at UniAdmissions is to get every single one of the students we work with each year onto their chosen course at Oxford or Cambridge. Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability. Based on this, you may be offered a place if there are spaces remaining in the cohort. We accept students onto our exclusive Programmes based upon the following:

ACADEMIC PROFILE

Whether you have the right academic profile to be realistically considered by the Cambridge admissions tutors.

WIDER PROFILE

Whether you have begun to demonstrate the kind of interest that is looked upon favourably by admissions tutors.

ATTITUDE

Whether you are approaching your application and admission to Cambridge with the right mindset.

TIME COMMITMENT

Applying to Cambridge takes a significant commitment – if a student cannot commit the time, we cannot work with them.

FAQs

Got some questions about the HAA Tutoring Programme? You might just find the answer here. If not, you can always reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help!

The HAA Tutoring Programme focuses entirely on preparation for the HAA exam. This entails one-to-one tuition, HAA resources and more. This Programme is designed for students who are highly confident will all other areas of their application, such as the Personal Statement and interview.

Our Oxbridge History Programme is a more comprehensive Programme of support which includes preparation for the Personal Statement and Interviews. You would get extra support such as mock interviews, Personal Statement redrafts and additional one-to-one tutoring hours.

At UniAdmissions, we’ve guided hundreds of students to Oxford and Cambridge for more than a decade, achieving success rates over three times the national average. To maintain this, we implement the Scholar Limit, restricting programme admissions to ensure every student receives the high-quality teaching and support they deserve. While we support more applicants each year, the Scholar Limit ensures we uphold our standards and maximize students’ chances of success. If capacity is full, you can enrol early for the next cohort, securing your spot at the current fee and gaining immediate access to the UniAdmissions Portal and its resources. Alternatively, you can join our waitlist or apply for the Full-Blue Programme, which allows you to start anytime with added benefits.

Yes, we do! Each of our students can book as many one-to-one tutoring sessions as they wish for the duration of their UniAdmissions programme. These sessions can be used to cover any areas that you’re struggling with from the HAA.

You can book your tutoring sessions through your UniAdmissions Portal. The Portal is the central point of your Programme and will contain all of your HAA resources, seminar access and lots of useful information.

No other HAA tuition provider has a system close to the UniAdmissions Portal!

Every HAA tutor at UniAdmissions is carefully vetted by our team. You will only ever be matched with experienced, highly knowledgeable tutors who are truly experts in the HAA exam.

If you are ever unhappy with your tutor (an unlikely occurrence), then your dedicated Programme Manager will arrange a better-suited tutor for you.

The HAA cannot be prepared for adequately in a day or two. We’ve found, through years of research and preparing students for the HAA, that preparing over a longer period of time is a much more effective way of embedding the knowledge needed to perform on the day and ultimately score highly in the HAA.

Absolutely, and we’d encourage you to do so.

Make sure you give your tutor enough notice (at least 5 days) for them to prepare the appropriate materials.
