Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.

Each of your unlimited tuition sessions in your Ancient and Modern History Programme provides valuable one-on-one time with an experienced tutor who will navigate the subject matter with you.

These personalised sessions enable concentrated focus on challenging topics and areas of difficulty. With tutors who have successfully navigated the process themselves, you’ll receive tailored support and guidance for your success.

Unlimited, honed-in one-to-one support with your expert Ancient and Modern History Oxford tutor – all with homework and reports.

UniAdmissions offers you access to a vast library of over 100 published books covering all aspects of the Oxbridge application process, including subject theory, practice materials, and additional resources.

Our students also have full access to the UniAdmissions Academy, an advanced HAT question bank, as well as our specialised Reading Lists tailored specifically for students enrolled with us. These resources are unique and designed to support your academic journey effectively.

Finely-tuned Ancient and Modern History resources in a range of mediums to help you practice and learn for your application.

Dive into our immersive full-day intensive courses, covering all application essentials. Explore your Personal Statement, HAT and Oxbridge Interview with experienced tutors ranking in the top 10%.

These dynamic sessions encourage active participation, offering plentiful opportunities for both group and individual engagement. Don’t hesitate to ask your course tutor any remaining questions, ensuring a comprehensive grasp of the material.

Highly effective one-day courses that cover key components of your application, including your Personal Statement, Admissions Tests and Interview.

Meeting Oxford’s demanding requirement for extensive wider reading can seem daunting, but our Enrichment Seminars are tailored to assist you with this.

Ultimately, this entails demonstrating authentic interest and passion for your chosen subject. From the first week of your Programme, you’ll engage in subject-specific Enrichment Seminars. These seminars extend your exposure beyond the standard curriculum, precisely aligning with Admissions tutors’ expectations.

Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, as you would at Oxford.

Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated mentor – a senior tutor.

Your Mentor will be there to support you with complex areas of your application and will assist you in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme. This could be (but is not limited to) support navigating the UCAS system, identifying and securing relevant work experience, and guidance on letters of reference.

You’ll be assigned an academic mentor for guidance and will be able to contact them whenever you require.

The UniAdmissions Portal is your link between all of the support and resources offered in your Programme and you. You’ll find everything included in your Programme available in your personalised Portal account.

As a student this is your Programme Hub. With monthly updates, you’ll stay in the loop and never miss a step in your preparation. Stay informed about tasks, important dates and your progress, and be confident that you’re always on the right path!

You’ll get access upon enrolment to a Programme.

A personalised online platform which will guide you through your Programme as a student, or help you track your child’s progress as a parent.

Students applying more than 12 months ahead of time will have access to our Head Start seminars, which are geared toward students who are in the early stages of the application process. These seminars provide a solid foundation for your future education and allow you to fully benefit from your UniAdmissions Programme.

Sessions are created specifically for our Head Start students and focus on topics that help establish a solid foundation for your education and teach valuable life skills.

You will get 12 additional hours of individual support through the Head Start Programme. This extra support is purpose-built to develop essential skills to give you an early advantage over other Oxbridge applicants through a comprehensive research-based learning experience. You’ll gain skills and a deeper subject knowledge that will hugely bolster your upcoming application.

Students on our Head Start Programmes will get additional hours of one-to-one tutoring time along with their Head Start seminars.

We are a private selective Oxbridge preparation school.

Our mission at UniAdmissions is to get every single one of the students we work with each year onto their chosen course at Oxford or Cambridge. Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability.

We accept students onto our exclusive Programmes based upon the following:

ACADEMIC PROFILE

Whether you have the right academic profile to be realistically considered by Oxford or Cambridge university.

WIDER PROFILE

Whether you have begun to demonstrate the kind of interest that is looked upon favourably by admissions tutors.

ATTITUDE

Whether you are approaching your application and admission to Oxbridge with the right mindset.

TIME COMMITMENT

Applying to Oxbridge takes a significant commitment – if a student cannot commit the time, we cannot work with them.

FAQs

Got some questions about the Full-Blue Oxford Ancient and Modern History Programme? You might just find the answer here. If not, you can always reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help!

Yes, we do! Each of our students can book as many one-to-one tutoring sessions as they wish for the duration of their UniAdmissions programme. These sessions can be used to cover any area of the Oxbridge application process, including the Personal Statement, admissions tests, interviews and general advice relating to topics like college selection and wider reading.

At UniAdmissions, we’ve guided hundreds of students to Oxford and Cambridge for more than a decade, achieving success rates over three times the national average. To maintain this, we implement the Scholar Limit, restricting programme admissions to ensure every student receives the high-quality teaching and support they deserve. While we support more applicants each year, the Scholar Limit ensures we uphold our standards and maximize students’ chances of success. If capacity is full, you can enrol early for the next cohort, securing your spot at the current fee and gaining immediate access to the UniAdmissions Portal and its resources.

Alternatively, you can join our waitlist or apply for the Fellows Programme, which allows you to start anytime with added benefits.

No, Cambridge only offers a standard History course.

Applicants for Oxford Ancient and Modern History will need to sit the HAT. Support for the HAT will be included within your programme.

The HAT Academies is a set of pre-recorded lectures and videos which take you through the HAT exam from start to finish. These courses serve as a fantastic starting point for your exam and also provide some more advanced tips.

As with everything else that makes up your Programme, you can find your recommended reading lists on the Preparation Portal under the ‘Extras’ tab.Â
