Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.

Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.

In your Biomedical Sciences Programme, your one-to-one tuition sessions are led by a highly qualified tutor who will provide guidance on the course material.

The one-on-one sessions are designed to concentrate on challenging topics and your own areas of difficulty. Your tutor, who has successfully navigated the application process, can offer suitable support and guidance with what every area you want to cover to ensure there are no weak spots in your application.

Honed in one-to-one support with your expert Biomedical Sciences tutor – all with homework and reports.

Plus, available exclusively to our students, you will have exclusive access to the UniAdmissions Academy, our advanced BMSAT question bank, and the UniAdmissions STEM Reading Lists.

Finely-tuned Biomedical Sciences resources in a range of mediums to help you practice and learn for your application.

As part of the programme, you will be invited to a series of full-day intensive courses covering every major part of your application, your Personal Statement, BMSAT and Interview. Each session is run by an expert tutor from Oxford and Cambridge who will teach you essential theory and guide you through the best strategies for your application.

Our courses are highly interactive and provide opportunities to ask your course tutor any lingering questions, both in group sessions and individually.

Highly effective one-day courses that cover key components of your application, including the BMSAT and Interview.

To be a competitive Oxford applicant, it’s essential to exhibit genuine interest and comprehension of the subject matter, and that’s precisely what our Enrichment Seminars aim to facilitate.

From the very first week of the programme, you will have the opportunity to participate in Enrichment Supervision sessions specifically tailored for medical subjects, which will provide you with exposure to subject material beyond the standard curriculum. Being able to discuss these topics will help boost your interview skills and help you stand out to the admissions tutors.

Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, an essential component of you application.

Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated Form Mentor.

Your Form Mentor will allow you to schedule unlimited one-on-one Mentoring Sessions with them for assistance in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme.

We are a private selective Oxbridge preparation school.

Our mission at UniAdmissions is to get every single one of the students we work with each year onto their chosen course at Oxford, Cambridge and beyond. Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability.

We accept students onto our exclusive Programmes based upon the following:

ACADEMIC PROFILE

Whether you have the right academic profile to be realistically considered by Oxford or Cambridge university.

WIDER PROFILE

Whether you have begun to demonstrate the kind of interest that is looked upon favourably by admissions tutors.

ATTITUDE

Whether you are approaching your application and admission to Oxbridge with the right mindset.

TIME COMMITMENT

Applying to Oxbridge takes a significant commitment – if a student cannot commit the time, we cannot work with them.

FAQs

Got some questions about the Oxford Biomedical Sciences Premium Programme? You might just find the answer here. If not, you can always reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help!

Yes and no. Cambridge does offer Biomedical Sciences, but as an add-on to the Natural Sciences, Veterinary Medicine, and Medicine courses – there is no option to take it as a single subject.

Although the BMSAT is primarily used by Medicine applicants, a number of smaller courses such as Biomedical Sciences and Dentistry do use it too.

As with everything else that makes up your Programme, you do this through the Preparation Portal under the ‘Extras’ tab – you will also find here how many submissions you have remaining.
