You will complete an EPQ-style project through your Programme which will develop your research and academic skills in a real-world context.

What is included in the Head Start Programme?
Your Head Start Programme is designed from the ground up to give you an early advantage against other applicants when applying to Oxbridge. You’ll gain an advantage by producing a research project, using skills you will use at university. You’ll also be engrossing yourself in teaching delivered in the style of Oxbridge – with your individual tutor and in a group setting, giving you the tools to excel in your GCSEs and your Oxbridge application.

Application Decision Making
We will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.
Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.
You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Manager, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.
One-To-One Tutoring
Every session in your Head Start Programme will be with an expert Oxbridge tutor relevant to your subject and course pathway.
The one-to-one sessions are used to support your research project, to aid your Oxbridge decision making process, to develop exam technique for your GCSEs, and to create a plan to maximise your super-curricular activities. Your tutor has been through the process with flying colours, so will be able to provide you with the right support and guidance.
Honed in one-to-one support with your Head Start Oxbridge tutor – designed to support you through your entire Programme.
Unlimited Mentoring & Guidance
Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated Form Mentor.
Your Form Mentor will allow you to schedule unlimited one-on-one Mentoring Sessions with them for assistance in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme.
You’ll be assigned an academic Form Mentor for guidance and unlimited mentoring sessions.
Enrichment Seminars
Wider reading is one of Oxbridge’s notoriously difficult application criteria to fulfil. That’s where our Enrichment Seminars come in.
What this criterion distils down to is showing interest and passion for your subject. From week one of your Programme, you’ll be invited to your subject-specific Enrichment Seminar and you will be exposed to your subject beyond simply what the cirriculum teaches – this is exactly what Admissions tutors are looking for.

Who is the Head Start Programme for?
The Head Start Programme is designed for students aged 15-17 (however, we do also work with younger students) who are beginning to think about their higher education goals.
The Programme aims to put students in the best possible position for their upcoming GCSE and A-level exams, whilst giving them the skills they need to succeed at university and beyond.
Where will my tutorials be held?
We provide most of our tuition online, however, if you are set on in-person tuition we can provide this.
In person tuition is usually held in a location that’s convenient for you and your tutor in Central London, Cambridge or Oxford.
In some cases, it may be possible to have the sessions at your house depending on your location.
Who are your tutors?
All tutors are current Oxbridge students, recent graduates or from a professional background. Our selection process ensures only the best tutors work for us, in roles most suited to their skill-sets.
What if I'm not satisified with my Programme?

What are the monthly group seminars?
These are sessions, created specifically for students on our Head Start Programme, are held monthly in a group setting with other Head Start students. These sessions will cover vital topics such as The Importance Of Goal Setting, Pricinciples Of Chemistry, Dealing With Conflict and various other topics.
The intention behind these topics is to set our students up with a firm foundation upon which they can build their application and academic future.

If you feel you need support in one area, your tutor will focus on this area to ensure you are comfortable with it. Likewise, your tutor will identify areas for improvement and work with you to turn them into strengths.
