Your Cambridge Philosophy Programme provides you with a comprehensive suite of support to ensure you have the best chance of success in your application.

Tap on the cards to see more details about our programme’s components.

Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.

Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.

You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor, Form Mentor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.

A crucial component of your Philosophy programme is the unlimited amount of one-on-one tutoring sessions you will have access to with an expert Cambridge tutor who was in the top 10% of their cohort.

These sessions offer you an opportunity to work on difficult topics and areas requiring improvement, allowing you to lead the direction of your teaching. Your tutor, who has successfully navigated the application process, will provide valuable support and guidance to help you overcome any challenges.

Unlimited one-to-one support with your expert Philosophy Cambridge tutor – all with homework and reports.

UniAdmissions has produced over 100 publications on the Oxbridge application process, and your programme provides access to everything related to your subject. These books are filled with expert techniques, tips and proven examples.

As a student enrolled in our programme, you will also gain access to exclusive features, such as the UniAdmissions Academy and the exclusive UniAdmissions Reading Lists.

Finely-tuned Philosophy resources in a range of mediums to help you practice and learn for your application.

Our all-day Intensive Courses offer a complete examination of every aspect of your application, including your Personal Statement and Interview.

With the guidance of highly experienced tutors, you’ll delve into your preparation and learn the best techniques to ensure your success. The sessions are highly engaging, offering group discussions and chances to speak one-to-one with your course instructor.

Highly effective one-day courses that cover key components of your application, including your Personal Statement and Interview.

Showcasing a deep interest and passion for your chosen subject is crucial to meeting the stringent requirements of the Cambridge application process. This is why we offer regular Enrichment Seminars.

These seminars offer you the chance to delve deeper into your subject beyond the standard curriculum, allowing you to develop a well-rounded understanding of your subject, which is exactly what Cambridge admissions tutors look for. You will be able to attend these sessions from your first week on the programme.

Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, as you would at Oxbridge.

Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated mentor – a senior tutor.

Your Mentor will be there to support you with complex areas of your application and will assist you in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme. This could be (but is not limited to) support navigating the UCAS system, identifying and securing relevant work experience, and guidance on letters of reference.

You’ll be assigned an academic mentor for guidance and will be able to contact them whenever you require.

The UniAdmissions Portal is your link between all of the support and resources offered in your Programme and you. You’ll find everything included in your Programme available in your personalised Portal account.

As a student this is your Programme Hub. With monthly updates, you’ll stay in the loop and never miss a step in your preparation. Stay informed about tasks, important dates and your progress, and be confident that you’re always on the right path!

You’ll get access upon enrolment to a Programme.

A personalised online platform which will guide you through your Programme as a student, or help you track your child’s progress as a parent.

Students applying more than 12 months ahead of time will have access to our Head Start seminars, which are geared toward students who are in the early stages of the application process. These seminars provide a solid foundation for your future education and allow you to fully benefit from your UniAdmissions Programme.

Sessions are created specifically for our Head Start students and focus on topics that help establish a solid foundation for your education and teach valuable life skills.

You will get 12 additional hours of individual support through the Head Start Programme. This extra support is purpose-built to develop essential skills to give you an early advantage over other Oxbridge applicants through a comprehensive research-based learning experience. You’ll gain skills and a deeper subject knowledge that will hugely bolster your upcoming application.

Students on our Head Start Programmes will get additional hours of one-to-one tutoring time along with their Head Start seminars.

How do I enrol?

To get started on your journey with UniAdmissions, you’ll need to arrange to speak with an Admissions Consultant who will assess your application and how viable you are as a candidate.

how do i get started3

Book your 30-minute consultation (free of charge) using the widget below:

We are a private selective Oxbridge preparation school.

Our mission at UniAdmissions is to get every single one of the students we work with each year onto their chosen course at Oxford or Cambridge. Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability. Based on this, you may be offered a place if there are spaces remaining in the cohort.

We accept students onto our exclusive Programmes based upon the following:

ACADEMIC PROFILE

Whether you have the right academic profile to be realistically considered by Oxford or Cambridge university.

WIDER PROFILE

Whether you have begun to demonstrate the kind of interest that is looked upon favourably by admissions tutors.

ATTITUDE

Whether you are approaching your application and admission to Oxbridge with the right mindset.

TIME COMMITMENT

Applying to Oxbridge takes a significant commitment – if a student cannot commit the time, we cannot work with them.

FAQs

Got some questions about the Full-Blue Cambridge Philosophy Programme? You might just find the answer here. If not, you can always reach out to us and we’ll be happy to help!

Yes, we do! Each of our students can book as many one-to-one tutoring sessions as they wish for the duration of their UniAdmissions programme. These sessions can be used to cover any area of the Cambridge application process, including the Personal Statement, PAA, interviews and general advice relating to topics like college selection and wider reading.

At UniAdmissions, we’ve guided hundreds of students to Oxford and Cambridge for more than a decade, achieving success rates over three times the national average. To maintain this, we implement the Scholar Limit, restricting programme admissions to ensure every student receives the high-quality teaching and support they deserve. While we support more applicants each year, the Scholar Limit ensures we uphold our standards and maximize students’ chances of success. If capacity is full, you can enrol early for the next cohort, securing your spot at the current fee and gaining immediate access to the UniAdmissions Portal and its resources.

Alternatively, you can join our waitlist or apply for the Fellows Programme, which allows you to start anytime with added benefits.

Oxford does not offer a single Philosophy course, with it instead being offered alongside other subjects. Therefore if you want to study just Philosophy then Cambridge will be the choice for you.

If you are interested in studying Philosophy at Oxford, check out our PPE and PPL Premium Programmes to find out how we can support your application.

As part of the Philosophy Programme, you will have a place on the Personal Statement and Interview Intensive Courses.

All applicants are required to sit the Philosophy Admissions Assessment (PAA); you will receive expert one-to-one tuition to ensure you achieve the best score possible.

Your tutor will be on hand to help you decide what written work to submit as part of your application – the college you are applying to will also let you know what sort of work it should be.

As with all the materials that form part of your Programme, you will find the reading list on the Preparation Portal under the ‘Extras’ tab.Â
