The Thinking Skills Test (TST) is an admissions test used by University College London that is based upon the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA), used by the University of Oxford. All resources and courses included with our TST tuition are based upon the TSA, but the two exams share the exact same format and question styles, so these materials are suitable for TST preparation.Â

Application Support
Firstly we will help you make the right decision regarding course and University choice.
Whether this is through a meeting with our Academic Director or by arranging sessions with tutors from Oxford and/or Cambridge in your considered subject areas. We will help you come to an informed conclusion on one of the most important decisions you will ever make.
You will receive a full introduction to your Programme by your Programme Team, along with your tutor and our Academic Director. Throughout your time with us, they will be here to help.
Unlimited One-To-One TST Tutoring
You will receive unlimited private TSA tutoring sessions with an expert who will thoroughly go over both sections of the exam with you.
These sessions will be tailored to your specific needs and the tutor’s prior experience with the TSA will allow them to effectively guide your preparation.
Unlimited one-to-one support with your expert TST tutor – all with homework and reports.
Comprehensive TST Materials
The TST is a renamed version of Oxford’s TSA, so all of our TSA materials will be suitable for your preparation. You will have access to all of our TSA-related books which cover a wide range of topics such as exam technique, practice materials, and more to aid you in your application.
On top of that, you will have full access to the UniAdmissions Academy, our specially made TSA practice resources and the UniAdmissions Reading List for your subject, all of which are exclusive to students enrolled in our Programmes.

TST Intensive Course
This full-day interactive TSA preparation course will comprehensively cover the exam, beginning with the basics and progressing to advanced concepts, all of which will be relevant to the TST. The course leader, who is an expert in the exam, will provide a detailed analysis of how to approach each section of the TSA and strategies to attain a score in the top 10% of applicants.
You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions about the TSA or TST and receive valuable guidance from a tutor who has previously excelled on the exam.
You’ll get an exclusive place on our renowned TSA preparation course that will support you with the TST.
Enrichment Seminars
Showing a strong interest in your chosen subject through activities outside of the standard curriculum is a major challenge for UCL university applicants. Therefore, our Enrichment Seminars are tailored to help you meet this requirement.
Beginning from the first week of the program, you will be invited to attend supervision sessions where you will gain knowledge in your chosen subject beyond what is taught in class, which is exactly what the admissions officers are looking for.
Develop a deeper understanding of your subject and go beyond your curriculum, as you would at UCL.
Mentoring
Every student will receive supplementary assistance from their designated mentor – a senior tutor.
Your Mentor will be there to support you with complex areas of your application and will assist you in any areas of difficulty throughout their programme. This could be (but is not limited to) support navigating the UCAS system, identifying and securing relevant work experience, and guidance on letters of reference.
You’ll be assigned an academic mentor for guidance and mentoring sessions.
Personalised Portal
The UniAdmissions Portal is your link between all of the support and resources offered in your Programme and you. You’ll find everything included in your Programme available in your personalised Portal account.
As a student this is your Programme Hub. With monthly updates, you’ll stay in the loop and never miss a step in your preparation. Stay informed about tasks, important dates and your progress, and be confident that you’re always on the right path!

Every student applying to study on our Programme goes through an initial assessment with our Admissions team. This is a 30-minute consultation (free of charge) where our team assesses your viability. Based on this, you may be offered a place if there are spaces remaining in the cohort.

What is the TST?
The Thinking Skills Test (TST) is a version of the Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA) that is utilised by University College London (UCL). The test is comprised of Section 1 of the TSA, which you can learn more about in our TSA Complete Guide.Â
Currently, the test is required for just one undergraduate course at UCL; European & International Social & Political Studies.
How can I access unlimited TST Tutoring?
Unlimited TST tutoring is available exclusively in our preparation programmes – the Full-Blue Programmes. This programme features full support for every part of your UCL application, including your Personal Statement and interviews.Â

Why are there limited places available?

Do you really offer "unlimited tutoring"?
Yes, we do! Each of our students can book as many one-to-one tutoring sessions as they wish for the duration of their UniAdmissions programme. These sessions can be used to cover any areas that you’re struggling with from the TST.Â
How are my TST tutoring sessions arranged?
You can book your tutoring sessions through your UniAdmissions Portal. The Portal is the central point of your Programme and will contain all of your TST and TSA resources, seminar access and lots of useful information.
No other TST tuition provider has a system close to the UniAdmissions Portal!
Who are your TST tutors?
Every TST tutor at UniAdmissions is carefully vetted by our team. You will only ever be matched with experienced, highly knowledgeable tutors who are truly experts in the TST and TSA.
If you are ever unhappy with your tutor (an unlikely occurrence), then your dedicated Programme Manager will arrange a better-suited tutor for you.
I'm struggling in one area - Can I spend the whole session on it?
Absolutely, and we’d encourage you to do so.
